THE GAY BLADE (3) has been in fine form at Newcastle this calendar year bringing three wins from four starts. A neck winner last week and must be taken very seriously whilst in this form. WAR MEMORIAL (8) was runner up in a 1400m contest at Southwell last month which was the best performance when racing for this stable. Cannot be ruled out off that effort. CLASSY CLARETS (5) bounced back to form with a win at Wolverhampton and two placings last three starts. Back onto turf where he remains a maiden. Holds strong claims. DUE RESPECT (4) returns fresh from a break having not competed since September. Market could prove the best guide.
