REVEREND JACK (10) missed the frame last time when sixth at this track. Prior to that had been in the money on two consecutive occasions. Has a decent record at this trip with four minor placings from five tries and is expected to be in the finish. CLASSIC ALPHIE (2) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1609m at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. RED FERN (3) was beaten 9 lengths into fifth in a 1609m contest at MOUNTAINEER PARK Turf last time out. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
