ROSE'S PEPINO (1) has been kept fresh since finishing eighth over 1609m at Thistledown (Dirt) five-and-a-half weeks ago. Was a determined winner two runs back. Winning rider Bailey Weatherly stays aboard. Bold showing expected. GRIMES (2) settled well back last start and never threatened when 19 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1609m at Mountaineer Park Turf (Dirt). Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. DR JACK FLYER (7) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time over 1609m at this track (Dirt), beaten 3 lengths. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Finds a tougher race but a big run will not surprise.
