Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will play a major role. MAXWELL ESQUIRE (7) worked home well to grab third at his latest appearance at this track (Turf) over 1408m. Good signs last time and cannot be dismissed. MAYNARD (4) has been in the placings his past two starts, finishing second over 1673m at Presque Isle Downs (Synthetic) last time out. Brooke Bays goes well on this seven-year-old and is back on top today. Certainly one to consider.
