THUNDER CHUCK (11) was an emphatic winner last time over 1207m at Monmouth Park (Dirt) with today's rider Carlos Eduardo Rojas engaged. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and four minor placings from eight outings. Sure to run well. LUCKY TWIST (5) was far from disgraced when fourth last start over 1006m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths after he did his best work in the closing stages. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. TWIRLING EXPRESS (6) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 2.75 lengths when fifth over 1006m at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Won't find this as tough so he is one of the main contenders. IDENTITY CRISIS (7) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when seventh and beaten 3.5 lengths over 1006m at this track (Turf). Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Not to be discounted.
