IMPERIAL EMPEROR (1) is having his first run since April 5. Has a very good fresh record, scoring three times, including one over 1600m at this track at the start of last prep. He meets a good field, but is the one to beat for us. MESHTRI (2) finished second fresh up as the favourite at Listed level at this track over this distance when fresh from a break last time out. Has a very good record here, including three wins from six starts. Follow your money. CASTLEWARDEN (8) resumed over 1600m at Listed level at this track last time out and finished third. He has a solid second-up record and has plenty of upside with the run under his belt. Expected to run well. TUMBARUMBA (3) gave away a considerable start over 1609m in the G1 Breeders Cup Dirt Mile at Del Mar (Dirt) last time before hitting the line well to finish fourth. He has since changed stables, and if he doesn't need the run, he can figure in the top 4 for sure. Check the market moves.
