YOTARID (1) returns from a break of ten months. Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a second over 1400m at Jebel Ali. He has a stack of upside and will be a lot stronger this season. A bold showing is expected. TRANSCENDING GLORY (8) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the M Mardood yard. Hasn't raced since finishing in the placings at Leopardstown six months ago. Fitter for a trial win on the dirt here, and he looks well placed. Expected to be in the finish. VESPASIAN (5) comes here off a break of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting, he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1005m at Ascot. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break, but generally races well with four minor placings. Makes plenty of appeal. MARKAKOL (9) finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1200m at Abu Dhabi, beaten less than a length. Going up a level this time, but he is up to the challenge.
