CAVALLO BAY (2) needed the run and was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over gate1600m at this track, when starting from a wide gate. He strips fitter and is the one to beat here, so follow your money. BECCALI (6) scored an impressive win by 4 lengths when resuming from a spell last time out over 1400m at this track. He was a winner at his only previous second-up run, and he can step up and win again immediately. INDIAN SPRINGS (7) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at this track, but raced below expectations last time over 1200m at this track, finishing well back. Nicely placed to turn things around, so stick with him on an each-way basis. HALLASAN (10) finished seventh, beaten 4 lengths, last time out over this course and distance after starting from an outside draw. He hails from the powerful Charlie Appleby stable, and he gives that yard a strong hand in this race. He would not be a shock winner here.
