DARK VINTAGE (7) really dug deep to score by 7 lengths three runs back at Fairmount Park (Dirt) before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Nicely placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. MR PENNY PINCHER (4) lifted strongly to score by 0.3 lengths three runs back at Thistledown (Dirt) before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Distance specialist with five wins and 11 minor placings from 24 runs and is a leading contender. RE MARKABLY (9) is racing well, scoring two back at Monmouth Park (Dirt) before finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in third last time over 1308m at Charles Town (Dirt). Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Will be in this for a long way. SPRINT OUT PASS (1) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fourth over 1609m at Prairie Meadows (Dirt) nine weeks ago. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
