EL GUTY (4) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1609m at Mountaineer Park after being in the firing line on the bend. Worth noting B Tapara goes aboard. Nicely placed to take this out. STRIKE APPEAL (6) has not appeared since he finished sixth over 1609m at Thistledown (Dirt) on August 4. Has a solid first-up record of two wins and two placings from eight runs. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. COALMINER'S KITTEN (3) recorded a strong on-speed win last time by a nose over this journey at Thistledown (Dirt). Expected to feature. MYSTIC POWER (1) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 7 lengths away in seventh over 1673m at Fairmount Park. Better than recent efforts suggest.
