FIREWATER JAKE (7) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at this track (Dirt) two starts back then got the job done by 7 lengths as favourite last time out over 1609m at this track (Dirt). Erik Barbaran scored on him last time and retains the ride. Looks well placed so expect another big run. GUNS N' ROJAS (6) saluted at Penn National two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when in the firing line on the turn before finishing second over 1408m at Charles Town, beaten 1.5 lengths. Finds a tougher race but a better run will not surprise. CAMP DAVID (4) was in the firing line on the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1673m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a more suitable contest and can take the next step and salute. BOLDNESS (9) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.6 lengths from the winner in third over 1673m at this track. Suitably placed so he can be prominent again.
