TOOTHLESS (6) is a half-brother to the high class Sceau Royal, Was in fine form at Windsor on New Years Day when winning by 3L and having done well on soft ground in the past must be respected racing for Paul Nicholls. RODNEY (1) arrives bidding for a hat-trick following a 4L success at Hereford. This looks more competitive and requires improvement. TAX FOR MAX (5) was no match for Toothless at Windsor. Expected to improve on this second start over fences. CHARLES RITZ (3) jumped and travelled well at Southwell in December and cannot be ruled out in what looks a good race for the grade.
