Former course and distance winner ANNIE EXPRESS (7) was successful tackling a shorter trip here three weeks ago when winning by 6.5L. Looks a major player whilst in that sort of condition. GRIS MAJEUR (4) proved consistent this term. Was 5L second a week ago at Chepstow and won here in the past. Remains of interest. TAX FOR MAX (3) is well-exposed and the step up in trip might suit better than the latest effort here tackling 3200m. Holds class to take care of this field if on song. More was expected of EPIC WEST (2) last time when third at Leicester. Up in trip and makes plenty of appeal on this occasion.
