L A RAVIN (5) didn't do a bad job when second last start after being in contention on the turn over 366m at this track, beaten 0.3 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Meeting a deeper field this time but he cannot be underestimated. JAQUE (6) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 1.5 lengths away in sixth over 320m at this track (Dirt) on August 23 which was the only run of that prep. Has scored first-up from a spell before. Irving Lara who has two wins when partnering stays on. One of the contenders. DICE GAME (4) pushed forward and was a determined winner by a nose over 274m at this track (Dirt) last time out. Has a good record here at this journey with two wins and two minor placings from five starts. Don't underestimate.
