BREWTAL COWBOY (2) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing when prominent at the bend, finishing 1.75 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 320m at this track. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be underestimated. L A RAVIN (5) ran a better race last time at his second career start when third over 274m at this track (Dirt). Coming along nicely and should be in the finish. INSTAGATE (1) is back after a break of nine weeks. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing third at his latest appearance over 320m at Remington Park (Dirt). Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
