PUNCHY (4) was 2.75 lengths from the winner in fifth over 320m at this track (Dirt) last time following a minor placing on debut the run before. Expected to prove tough to beat. PLEASE PAUL (5) finished out of the money two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 1.75 lengths when seventh over 320m at this track five weeks ago. Going up a level this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. CORONA SPAIDS (3) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 274m at this track (Dirt) when third, beaten 2.5 lengths. Likely improver so another bold showing is expected. NO SON OF MINE (2) was beaten 4 lengths into eighth over 274m at this track eight weeks ago. Well placed to turn things around.
