The James Evans trained pair AMERICAN ROSE (2) and MINTANA (7) look difficult to separate. Both claimed second place finishes most recently with the former over this 1400m trip. Worth considering. HUNTLY LODGE (5) may stake a claim from the inside draw if running to form of her penultimate start when fourth here (1400m). Anticipated to be thereabouts. It is hard to be enthusiastic about chances of the remaining field.
