DENEMETHY (1) has finished runner up on three of his last five starts but took a step backwards in a better race than this at Sandown Park three and a half weeks ago. Will find this much more realistic and should be hard to beat. COBBLER'S BOY (3) has yet to get going over fences but can't be ruled out from this stable and worth another chance. RIP WHEELER (4) hasn't hit the form that he showed at the start of the winter but a bold show here wouldn't be a shock. XCITATIONS (3) is a previous course and distance winner who should improve from the first run of the season last month but needs a revival.
