THE COLA KID (12) is knocking on the door of late. Placed past two outings including when a solid third attempting 1400m at Wolverhampton. Big chance if continuing to be prominent. PAPA DON'T PREACH (5) stuck on well to make the frame in a 1000m contest at Newcastle beaten 2.75L. Is nicely positioned to deliver another bold race. SPENDMORE LANE (1) improved last start when 1L fourth tackling 1000m at Wolverhampton. Completes the shortlist.
