FRUMOASA (1) looked a smart prospect when going clear for a 1.5L success on debut at Southwell. Yards runners generally need a start so big progression can be expected particularly over this longer distance. Drawn well receiving a handy apprentice weight allowance and could prove difficult to beat. BEARLY BLUE (2) runs first up for yard going particularly well with its juveniles. Expect a bold showing. LADY BRANKSOME (3) races under champion jockey for debut. Could be fit and likely to go close. MAGNESIUM (6) showed ability when beaten 6L racing first up at Ascot. This looks easier and now rates as a potential threat to all.
