SILVER STATE (3) followed up a win at Wolverhampton with an impressive 5.5L triumph over 1609m at Newcastle four days ago. Expected to play a leading role. LOMA EXPRESS (4) has been running well in defeat of late including when 2.75L second over 1408m at Lingfield. Strong prospects of winning on initial handicap outing.
