The Russell-Scudamore-trained SMOKE TRAIL (1) has shown enough to rate highly in a race like this and the earlier Musselburgh placing reads well. Last time at Newbury was only moderate but a repeat of his better efforts would see him right in the mix. HERJA (4) has not fired in two runs this term yet she has faced useful opposition and this looks a more suitable task. THEY WANT ME (2) shaped creditably here two starts ago tackling 3200m before failing to build on it at Carlisle. Worth giving another chance advancing in distance. NOBOTHERATALL (6) might come on from his return and could show more with that outing behind him.
