SOMETIME (4) finished seventh two runs back at Turfway Park (Synthetic) then improved last time out to score by 0.3 lengths as public elect after being prominent at the turn over 1207m at Mahoning Valley (Dirt). Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to cope. EPIC SUMMER (1) finished out of the money two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 24 lengths when fifth in a 1609m contest at Aqueduct three-and-a-half weeks ago. Has the talent to figure prominently. DAMASCUS STEEL (2) is high on confidence after scoring by 1.3 lengths over 1207m at Fairgrounds (Dirt) last time out. Will appreciate the drop in the weights. One of the contenders again. NINE BALL (3) finished midfield when resuming from a break last start over 1308m at Turfway Park (Synthetic), beaten 7 lengths. Fitter and with blinkers applied he makes plenty of appeal.
