CLEVER ONE (7) is a two-start maiden who returned last time and finished sixth at Churchill Downs (Dirt) over 1609m, beaten 10 lengths. Fitter and capable of taking this out. SOCCER SOCKS (4) faced the starter for the first time and finished fifth last start at Churchill Downs (Dirt) over 1207m, beaten 7 lengths. Should progress this time and is expected to feature. DEVIOUS LADY (1) did little and finished 18 lengths from the winner in tenth over 1207m at Churchill Downs last start, a less impressive effort than her sixth on debut at Ellis Park the run before. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. CLASSIC SONG (12) turned in a moderate debut over 1609m at Kentucky (Turf) on August 29 when she was safely held in 12th, 20 lengths from the winner. Will take a lot from that experience. Can improve.
