POWERLINE (5) has the strongest race experience, having been second on debut at Saratoga before failing to quicken as a short odds-on favourite at the same venue. That last run was below market expectation, but the break gives him the chance to reset and the Steven Asmussen-Flavien Prat profile is a clear positive. SUPREME COMMANDER (8) is the most appealing debut runner, with Tyler Gaffalione booked and Brendan P Walsh bringing a strong track profile plus a 21% trainer-sire strike rate. HIGHWAYMEN (2) is another well-credentialled newcomer for Cherie Devaux, whose debut numbers and Curlin combination read well, while Jose Ortiz adds further polish. BOURBON NEAT (7) has a deep black-type family, including G2 winner Slammed, and William Walden's debut record is strong enough to make him a genuine first-start threat.
