HOOSIER SURPRISE (7) has started twice, running a good third on debut then finishing seventh, beaten 9 lengths, last time over 1609m at Horseshoe Indianapolis Turf (Turf). Backmarker who gets home hard. Rates highly on debut effort and should go well. NO CEILING (9) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at her second outing when prominent at the corner, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1106m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. CAN'T FOOL APRIL (8) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was never in contention over 1106m at this track, beaten 11 lengths into fifth. Nicely placed to get the prize. RED CLAY HALO (1) is back from a spell of nine weeks. Debuted with a third, beaten 5 lengths, over 1006m at this track at her only appearance to date. One of the genuine contenders.
