BEST LIGHTNING (2) showed little early speed and was always well back last start when sixth, beaten 6 lengths, over this journey in the G3 Prix Du Prince D'Orange at Longchamp. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. PETIT MARIN (3) ran sixth at his latest appearance over 2000m at Baden Baden, clocking in 5 lengths from the winner. Rene Piechulek, who has a superb record of two wins aboard this seven-year-old gelding, is back in the irons. Looks to have an edge on most of these. DARDANOS (7) is a talented colt who was well held last time in tougher grade over 2400m in the G1 Grosser Preis Von Berlin at this track. Winning rider Eduardo Pedroza sticks. Expected to measure up. SNOW PLAYER (4) raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 6 lengths, over 2100m in the LR GRAND PRIX REGION GRAND EST at Strasbourg. Stiffer assignment here but can figure in the finish.
