GRAN VERA (9) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest fifth at this track over 1200m. Rates highly in this line up. Gets his chance. NO ME PILLA (13) drew wide last time and was safely held when seventh over this track and trip. Has the speed to overcome the draw. Will give backers a great sight. NEGRO MALDONAO (3) turned in a fine effort to score by half a length at this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. DIOSA KALI (12) hasn't really produced this campaign but worth consideration today.
