AMPUERO (4) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 1000m at this track, finishing second and beaten 0.3 lengths. Facing a tougher assignment but he is worth serious consideration. EXCITED (12) finished sixth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1200m at this track, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. VIVIR SIN TI (11) is back from a spell of nine weeks. Closed last prep with a seventh, beaten 8 lengths, over 1200m at this track. One of the contenders.
