FLY THE W (1) was prominent at the corner but failed to live up to expectations over 2012m at Woodbine last time out when in the market. That followed a good third the run prior. Has a good record at this course and distance, including 15 wins. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. NINJA STAR (4) is having his first run since winning by one length five-and-a-half weeks ago over 1673m at this track. Has transferred to the Gustavo Delgado stable over the break. One of the better hopes. UNCLE JOHN (7) went fast early over 1710m at this track (Synthetic) when resuming last time and went on to score by one length. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. LONGBRANCH LOU (5) was far from disgraced when second last start over 1710m at this track. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Worth another chance.
