HAMMERSTEIN (4) is a progressive four-year-old entire who hasn't raced since finishing third over 1609m at Ellis Park (Turf) on August 24 2024. Goes well when fresh including a win and one minor placings. Likely to go forward from a nice draw. Among the leading chances. GENE AND JUDE (3) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1609m at Aqueduct, beaten one length after being prominent at the corner. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. KULAPAT (2) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing seventh last start over 1609m at Aqueduct (Turf) six weeks ago. Junior Alvarado has registered two minor placings when on board. Should be involved in the finish. IRRELEVANT (6) did well to score two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when third over 1207m at Aqueduct, beaten 1.3 lengths. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
