REBEL WITH A CLUE (7) is back from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Closed last prep with a fourth, beaten 1.1 lengths, over 1006m at Colonial Downs. Leading contender. NIGHT (4) could only manage fifth on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 1006m at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Finds a more suitable contest and can take the next step and salute. COMMENDATORE (2) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing sixth last start over 1408m at this track (Dirt) eight weeks ago. Measures up nicely on best figures and has the blinkers removed. Worth keeping safe. MAN WITH THE MONEY (3) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1207m at Laurel, beaten 9 lengths into tenth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
