LASER (8) missed the placings on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 1673m at this track, beaten 7 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Looks well placed so expect another big run. DOUBLE MILES (9) finished second last time over 1673m at this track (Synthetic), beaten 4 lengths. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Nicely placed to take this out. DAVID PEPPERMAN (7) finished 9 lengths from the winner in sixth after being in contention on the bend at his most recent appearance over 1673m at this track (Synthetic). Should be about the money.
