PEPPERMINT MAN (1) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 5 lengths back in second over 1673m at Gulfstream Park All Weather (Synthetic). Must raise the bar but a big run is on the cards. ROAR READY (6) made progress last start to finish third over 1408m at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. JOEY MUSCLES (3) settled well back last start and never threatened when sixth over 1308m in Listed grade at this track (Dirt) six weeks ago. Has a win and three minor placings at this journey from five starts and is one of the better hopes.
