NOBLE PRIDE (1) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing when prominent at the corner, finishing 8 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1408m at this track. Going up a level this time but he deserves plenty of thought. VALEN TIME (4) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was always well out of his ground over 1207m at this track, beaten 14 lengths into fourth. Nicely placed to take this out. MOTOR CITY MAN (2) turned in a moderate debut over 1207m at this track (Dirt) on June 20 when he was safely held in seventh, 20 lengths from the winner. Will take a lot from that experience. Can improve.
