Commendable record at this trip with a win and five minor placings and shapes as a key contender. MAXIMUS CAT (8) produced a reasonable effort after being in contention on the turn to finish 2.75 lengths away in fourth last start over 1006m at Gulfstream Park Turf. That followed a first-up win at this track. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. GOLDEN AMBITION (1) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1106m at this track, beaten 4 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. FREEDOM STREET (3) is coming off a last-start fifth, beaten 6 lengths, over 1106m at this track. Has definite claims.
