CHASING GOLD (3) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished second at this track two starts back then got the job done by 1.1 lengths last time out over 1900m at this track. In great form and loves it here. Open class winner last time so no reason she cannot salute again. MISSISSIPPI SPICE (8) produced a reasonable effort when second last start over 1600m at Greyville, beaten 1.1 lengths. That followed a win at Scottsville the start prior. Racing in great form this campaign. Looks a leading chance again. CLOUDS CLEARING (2) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time when beaten a head into second over 1600m at Turffontein Inside. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. One of the main contenders. RED CORAL (5) was in the money two starts back at Durbanville but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 9 lengths, at Kenilworth over 1800m. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
