AL AASY (1) isn't getting any younger but has made this race his own in recent years landing the last two renewals. Arrives off a cosy success in a Beverley Listed race a month ago (2400m). The Haggas team remain in fine form. The one to beat again. KING'S GAMBIT (5) is on a fair winless run. Much better signs however when 4.5L back in seventh at Royal Ascot (2000m) before being over-faced in the G1 Eclipse. Step up in distance is an interesting move. OPPORTUNITY (7) raced exuberantly but found plenty to land the Duke of Edinburgh Handicap by 1.75L at the Royal meeting last start (2400m). Worth plenty of thought upped in class. GHOSTWRITER (3) has had his problems but is still in early days for his present handler. Not overlooked.
