GATE THREE (1) did little and finished 10 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1500m at this track last start, a less impressive effort than her fifth at this track the run before. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SANTOS DUMONT (3) was resuming from a spell of five months last start when a solid second over this course and distance. Hasn't broken through over this course and distance but has managed three minor placings. Sure to run well. TARTUS (2) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then was beaten 2.75 lengths when fourth in a 1300m contest at Cidade Jardim a month ago. Finds a tougher race but a big run will not surprise. MARRON FIVE (5) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1300m at this track, beaten 1.3 lengths into fifth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
