CEDRUS (3) turned in a fine effort to win by a head at this track and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat again. ESTORIL (2) got the prize two runs ago at this track. Safely held last time out when eighth over 1600m at this track. This doesn't look as hard so he is worth another chance. SIGMUND (6) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1000m at this track. Nicely placed to take this out. PESTO (7) is fitter for two runs from a spell but yet to find best, the latest finishing fifth over 1200m at this track. Will strip fitter again and can sneak into the finish if finds best. Each way value.
