SUBMARINO (7) resumes after three and a half months and steps out for the first time under new trainer Jose Ferreira Reis. He ran a credible fifth over 1300m here when fresh last prep, and he looks well placed to make an immediate impact. SPEAK ALPHA (3) was sent out at 4.70 last start but could only manage fourth over 1200m. With his early speed and a favourable draw, he can settle prominently and give a strong account. CACADOR (9) followed a solid third two runs back with a narrow nose victory over 1100m last time. He is in the right sort of form to go on with it. XIS RAIO (8) was beaten six lengths when fifth over 1200m last start but is capable of improving and featuring more prominently here. Each way value.
