THE WARRIOR (6) is going well and is knocking on the door, last time out finishing second over 1600m in the G3 Frederico Lundgren at this track and only 0.8 lengths from the winner. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Best figures should see him run well. BELORIZONTINO (3) made progress last time out, finishing 6 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1300m at Cidade Jardim. Finds a tougher race but another big run is on the cards. NOVIKOV (2) did a great job to score by a nose over today's course and distance last time out to make it two-for-two this prep. No reason he cannot salute again.
