VERAO CARIOCA (2) improved last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1300m at this track. Suitably placed, anticipating another big run. UPSTREAM (3) last appeared when she finished third over 1500m at this track on February 22. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. NINFEIA (4) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a spell last time out, finishing a close-up third over 1600m at this track. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SWEET MARY HELEN (5) finished a sound fourth two runs back, then improved last start but found a couple better over 1300m at this track, beaten by less than 3 lengths. Has her share of talent and is a top-4 prospect.
