OLYMPIC PIKACHU (1) returns from a layoff of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1200m at this track. Yet to win first up but generally runs well with two minor placings from three tries. Looks a winning chance. NEXT WINNER (7) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 19 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1300m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Best figures measure up nicely. Makes plenty of appeal. GATE FOUR (2) finished fifth two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by a nose over 1000m at this track. Finds an easier assignment and can continue the winning form. TONGA DA MIRONGA (3) was well found in the betting last time out but could only manage to finish sixth over 1300m at this track in a disappointing performance. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time.
