PAT'S GAMBLE (2) has been kept fresh since finishing second last start over 1308m in Listed grade at this track. Genuine contender. IF YOU INSIST (4) is having his first run since August 18. Goes very well when fresh with two wins from four starts, the latest over 1308m at this track at the start of last prep. Makes plenty of appeal. HEARD A GHOST (7) was a winner on dirt over 1710m at this track two back but missed the frame on turf over 1710m at Fort Erie Turf last time. Will find this much easier. Too good to ignore.
