GENUINE WARRIOR (3) looks progressive this season with a decent 8L fourth in a 2150m event at Tagliacozzo last month prior to a strong 1.75L second in a 1500m race here a fortnight ago. Leading chance. KALSARIKANNIT (7) showed plenty of improvement at the start of the month scoring by 1.5L attempting 2250m at Livorno. Respect to follow up. EL TANQUE (1) produced a fair 5.5L fifth in a 1500m contest at this venue two weeks ago. Could build on that result returning to a longer journey. Holds claims. EAGLE STAR (4) won by a nose in a 2250m heavy ground event at Livorno preceding a decent 4.5L fifth at this course and distance. Interesting runner.
