TAKE THE GOLD (6) was prominent from the outset and fought on for second last start over 1673m at this track (Dirt), making it two minor placings in a row. Should race just off the speed despite the wide draw. Likely improver with strong prospects. SAVAGE STATE (2) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 9 lengths when fifth over 1106m at this track a week-and-a-half ago. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. SOLO DANCING (3) ran below expectations last time at this track (Dirt), finishing sixth and beaten 19 lengths. Worth another chance.
