MY LUCKY CHARM (4) is returning from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Finished 13th at Vaal over 1475m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Juan Nel. Has placed fresh and looks well placed here. Hard to beat. READY FOR THE ROAD (6) got off the mark over 1600m at Durbanville last start, scoring by a nose. Led throughout to get off the mark last time and can give a sight again. SLIVER OF SUNSHINE (5) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest seventh at Fairview All Weather over 1600m. Well-placed and can sneak into the finish. HALF MOON ISLAND (3) was a strong winner here fresh and has upside.
