Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. HIGHLY PERFECT (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 1207m at Hawthorne, beaten 17 lengths into fifth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. AFRICAN WARRIOR (4) finished second at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 1207m at this track (Dirt), finishing 7 lengths back in sixth after being in the firing line on the corner. Nicely placed to turn things around. SCRAPPY PATCH (5) showed little early dash last start but found the line strongly to get up for third, beaten 7 lengths, over this course and distance. Can figure in the finish again.
