Has the pace to be thereabouts from the outset. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. WESLAN (2) impressed last time out at the second run of the campaign when he made late ground and finished 5.5 lengths from the winner in third over 1106m at this track. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. TAHOE RUN (6) missed the frame on dirt over 1710m at Oaklawn Park two back then filled a minor placing last start on turf over 1609m at Hawthorne Turf. Julio Felix who has two wins when partnering stays on. Should be involved in the finish. ADIOS KID (3) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 1106m at this track, beaten 10 lengths into fifth. Well placed to make amends.
